At Alemir our goal is Beauty, Versatility, and Companionship. We selectively breed 1-2 litters a year and strive to produce puppies who are as good natured, balanced and attractive as their parents. Alemir dogs can be found in the Conformation, Agility, Obedience, Rally and Flyball rings but also on our couch and in our hearts. I believe in positive rewards and daily training of all dogs and puppies. Socialization of the puppies is a large focus of my breeding program. Puppies are raised with stimulation of all kinds: children, television, radio, walks outside, cats, other dogs, trips in the car, and many other activities from daily life! Health Screening: Yes. I use the following Health Screening procedures: OFA Hips CERF Eyes SA VWD. I find genetic health to be of the utmost importance. I breed for health first, and structure, intelligence, movement, and temperament a close second. I complete all genetic clearance before any breeding is done. I breed to genetically healthy, Champion studs who have long lines of Champions and genetic clearances in their backgrounds. I breed for multiple generations of health. Genetic testing clearances, for both Sire and Dam of all litters is always available.

Desert Reef Poodles are located in Utah's beautiful southwest corner, a 2 hour drive north of Las Vegas. We are a small hobby breeder committed to raise happy, healthy, sound and beautiful standards. We mostly breed silvers, but on occasion there are blues, white, cream and blacks.

We carefully plan litters with priority being quality, health and temperament. Genetic Health testing is done to aid in proper breeding with intensive pedigree research for lesser health risks.

We are natural rearers, weaning to a raw food diet and vaccines kept to a minimal. Puppies get lots of daily attention and socializing from adults and children of all ages. By the time they leave for their new homes they are well on their way to being house, crate and leash trained, with a couple of car trips to familiarize them to the motion and sounds.

We temperament test at 7 weeks to help with the best possible placement. Pets are on limited registration and a spay/neuter contract... health and temperament warranty, refunds after obedience training course and proof of spay/neutering, as well as any titles achieved.
