Having served in the Armed Services, discharged with a Purple Heart, I became interested in the wide range of dog health and breeding. I have spent a half century on establishing Ale Kai Kennel, white and black standard poodles, compiling a breeding program that has satisfied many owners.
The American Kennel Club has bestowed on me the first AKC Breeder of the Year 2002 and also, the AKC Lifetime Achievement Award. I am a member of the Poodle Club of America and have provided the illustrations for the Poodle Standard.
I have and will continue to dedicate my life to the health, temperament and beauty of Ale Kai Poodles.
