In my 10+ years of breeding experience, I have found that concentration on basic issues, on a consistent basis produces healthy, happy pups. As simple as this seems, unfortunately many dogs do not receive this important basic care, and end up at the Vet's office. Excellent human-grade nutrition, including lots of raw, meaty bones, daily free-range exercise in the company of other dogs and simply being there for my dogs, produces superior health and temperaments. I attempt to minimize interaction with Vets, am there to hold the paw of one who is injured until healed and in general, don't administer anything to a dog that I wouldn't put in my own body.
