I got my first standard poodle over 20 years ago. I started showing in obedience and dabbled in agility with my first 2 standards. With my next standard, I started showing in conformation and then started breeding. I breed for the joy of healthy, beautiful poodle puppies that are well adjusted and socialized. I just really enjoy standard poodles. I believe in testing to ensure the best possible chance for a healthy dog in the future. All dams and sires are tested for hips, thyroid, Sebaceous Adenitis, Neonatal Encephalopathy, eyes and Von Willebrands. I choose stud dogs based on temperament, health and what they will bring to the litter to improve the breed. My girls are happy, outgoing and confident. The puppies are raised in my home. I exposed them to many different experiences prior to them leaving. I start crate training at 7-8 weeks old as well. They will have many experiences prior to leaving and they are well socialized. All puppies have their first shot; be microchipped, dew claws removed and tails docked, and will have been vet checked before going home.
